Hey family and friends,

I have been traveling for three months now and visited four countries: New Zealand, Australia, Colombia, and Peru. I can not express with words how I feel to see so many different places but I can only give you a taste of it through pictures and tell you that each person on this earth should travel around our beautiful planet at least ones in a lifetime.

Alright back to the capital of the Inka Empire and its wonders. Cuzco is at 3300 meters, give or take. It's pretty high and you can feel the altitude on a day to day basis. I felt some of it when I go to sleep. My breathing is heavier. I spent a day in the city to visit its market, its streets, and its monument. I have to say, it's my favorite city in Peru. You should probably wait to be here to buy souvenirs. I have met two Frenchies and two Germans. We spent three days together and we went to the rainbow mountain or also called Winicunca. They have been discovered less than two years ago and it's really impressive the different color on the mountain. Its altitude is at 5200 meters. You will feel some difficulty breathing when going up but it's worth it. You should be able to go there for 65 soles all included. Pretty cheap for a day trip. We also booked during thoae three days the salkantay trek and we started it with Jordan on Thursday until Monday night.

What is it? It's a trek for 5 or 4 days that take you through the mountain to the Machu Picchu. You will see the Humantay lake, the salkanta mountain, the jungle, the train rail to Machu picchu pueblo and finish by the magnificent Machu Picchu, one of the seven wonders. If you have the time, do this trek. It costs around 160 dollars without the ziplines. I recommend to add the sleeping bag and argue for the price to include it. It was freezing for the first night and it actually hailed that night.

We were 15 peoples in the group and I think the picture below will better than a long explanation. Feel free to contact me if you need information.

We spent our last day chilling in the hotel because we are pretty tired after all those hikes. It was almost 100kms in fives days.

Now time to go to Bolivia, the next country on my list before finishing with Chile.

Cheers,

Beniben
