Hi followers,

This is my last post about the places I have visited. I will talk today about Pucón in the region of the lake in Chile and about Pentagonia.

Pucón is a small town between a lake and a volcano. It's a cute town that reminds me of Wanaka or other small ski resort town. We stayed there three days and had a blast. People are really friendly and you can spent some time on a beach with dark sand close to the lake. I swam the first day: pretty cold but very nice.

The weather was quite nice. It was around 25 degrees Celsius and we just walked in shorts and t-shirts around. We hiked the volcano, one of the day we were there. It was quite a way up with a lot of snow but the view at the top was amazing and the best part was the lava. As you can see on the pictures, we saw some great explosions of lava. It's not every day you can see something so awesome.

The rest of the time in the city was just relaxing and eating. We could have done some other activities like kayaking or canyoning but we just wanted to relax because we had next to take a bus night to Santiago and sleep at the airport before finally leave for Punta Arenas.

I was so tired when we board the plane that I slept the whole time. We booked a pretty hostel in Punta Arenas where we slept most of the afternoon. We had lunch at 4pm :). We were finally in Pentagonia and we should go to Ushuaia in few days. The end of the world as some people calls it. We rented some bikes one day to explore one reserve close to Punta Arenas and we biked along the sea. There isnt a lot to see in Punta Arenas but we had a nice time there.

We left early morning with JD for Ushuaia, the last country on my trip. It's funny because a week ago I didn't think I would be going to Argentina. It took us almost 10 hours to go to Ushuaia. We crossed the border pretty easily and arrived there early enough to buy so food, get some cash, and go to the hostel to rest. The host was really nice and arranged everything for us to go to the parque de la Tierra del Fuego. We did the most difficult hike and we killed it. Only 4h to go up and down where they say 7h but it let us with some pretty soared muscles. We spent a day in Ushuaia to see the city and we did all the attractions. We finished by a nice dinner with JD for our last meal together. It was an amazing two months together. We saw so many things.

I am now on my way back to Santiago and France. I have been blessed with this amazing chance to travel half the world and see what our planet has to offer. You don't see the world the same way after a trip like that. You realize that our world is amazing and we need to protect it.

Merry Christmas to all of you and I hope to see each of you soon.

Cheers,

Ben
