Hi followers,

My way through Bolivia is finally over and I started to visit Chile. There is a big difference between these two countries. You can see it at first at the border: a dust round versus a real road. Then you clearly see that this country is richer than Bolivia. The hostel are not too expensive but the food, restaurant, and trips are.

We went directly with Jordan to San Pedro de Atacama. We found a nice hostel and spend three days there. We booked two tours. One for the Valle de la Luna that started at 4pm to finish at 8pm with the sunset. It was a magical place again. I didn't think I would again be impressed.

Next one was the pierras Rojas trip: a one day excursion through the puna de atacama. It's not in the desert but right after in the beginning of the mountain. We saw some red rocks formed from magma and ashes, some beautiful lagunes in the middle of the volcanos, and a reserve of flamencos in a salar. Even after doing the Salar de Uyuni, it was nice to see those sightseeings. Still very impressive.

Now we are going down to Santiago where I hoped to visit some vineyards.

Cheers,

Ben
