Hi followers,

I have been in Chile for less than a week now and I am really enjoying it. Back to the civilization ;) just kidding. Bolivia wasn't that bad but it's nice to be back in a big city such as Santiago. In truly looks like we are in Europe.

We spent three days in Santiago just walking around and doing one of the free tour of the city. Some neighborhoods are really lovely with a lot of animation. We found a jazz concert the first night and walked back to the hotel late at night without issue. A city that seems pretty safe. It reminds me of Lyon with the river and the park around it. I don't know if it's because I was long enough in Bolivia and Peru where it was different than home, or if Chile is pretty European than I enjoyed my time there. We visited two hills where we had some nice views.

On the third day, we took the bus for Valparaiso. It's the second biggest city in Chile and it's close to the ocean. It's well renowned for its streetarts. Most of the city is covered with graffitis. We found a small hostel over there close to the hills with all the street arts. We spent a day walking around and taking pictures of the famous spots of this city. We went on a boat tour the next morning and saw all the city from the harbour.

I didn't have time to do the tour of the vineyard but I will back in few days in Santiago before heading back home. I will have time to enjoy some wine and probably buy some to go home.

Cheers,

Ben
